Chapter 124: Reymond’s Army
The king paused for a moment, deep in thought, before he finally stood up.
Daisy Town was one of the key towns near Rose City, along with Lily Town. While Lily Town focused on agriculture, Daisy Town thrived on maritime trade, bringing in substantial profit for the capital. So, sending aid was not just expected, it was necessary.
Everyone in the throne room turned their full attention to the king, waiting for his decision.
"I, King Radcliff, hereby command Prince Reymond to lead the army in assisting Daisy Town."
Reymond immediately kneeled before the king, then stepped back and briskly made his way to the door. Sir Dave followed close behind.
Then, Prince Reid stepped forward and knelt as well.
"Father, I apologize, but may I request something?" Reid asked.
"What is it, Reid?" King Radcliff asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I humbly request your permission to commission this issue as an emergency quest for the Dawnbloom Guild," Reid said, bowing his head lower.
"Why do you want to request help from that good-for-nothing guild, Prince?" Kelar interrupted.
He had to stop the guild from assisting the army. Even though his original plan was merely to use Daisy Town as a distraction, if he could truly cripple one of the most vital towns near Rose City, it would be like killing two birds with one stone.
The involvement of the Dawnbloom Guild,with several powerful members would interfere with that plan. Especially now, with the addition of two new strong adventurers, the threat had grown.
