The moment I activated the skill, the bones of my fingers grew longer, sharper, and stronger.

Once the transformation was over, I began to attack the rat on his back.

Meanwhile, the rat was wiggling around trying to get me off his back.

The moment I struck the wound with my claws, the rat screamed in agony and tried harder to get me off his back.
Eventually he succeeded; I jumped off his back, falling face-first to the ground.
