Chapter 207 - 206- Review
"So, here are the roles I’ve decided for each of you," Adrian said, looking at the five students in front of him. They were clearly shaken and frustrated.
They had just gone through something unexpected—something they weren’t ready for.
"We didn’t even have our weapons..." Brendon muttered as he ran his fingers through his hair.
Allen glanced at the older man and asked, "Sir... what was that spell?"
Adrian replied calmly, "It was an illusion. A spell made from dark elements. It’s called Nightmare."
Though it wasn’t the true Nightmare spell—which shows people their greatest fear—what Adrian had shown them was his own version of horror. A situation where one feels completely helpless.
Elana, who looked the most composed, asked, "How did I do, sir?"
Adrian rubbed his chin and said, "You did exceptionally well, Elana. You’re the only one who handled all three situations."
She had protected the King by raising tall ice pillars, helped the soldiers by separating the monsters with precise magic control, and even pulled people out from under the rubble—all at the same time.
She used a first-grade armament, the kind almost all students carry as a backup weapon. Even with limited options, she stayed calm and made the right decisions.
"You’re perfect for the role of team leader," Adrian announced. A warm smile appeared on Elana’s face as he added, "Does anyone have a problem with that?"
