Wu Junwen quietly instructed a few men. Fortunately, these female warriors rarely entered their dormitories, giving Wu Junwen enough time to plan and prepare supplies.
"Old Wu, we’ve got everything else ready, but the base management is strict on food. We searched for a while and managed to get a bit from others," one of the men said.
Wu Junwen looked at the stacked food, estimating that it might not be enough for them to eat for three days. However, they were pushing the limits. The female warriors’ control was strict, especially towards these men. Not only in their regular work but also in their movements, food, and water sources—everything was tightly regulated, making it almost indistinguishable from being in prison.
"No choice, we’ll ration this food. Once we escape, we can find more supplies and head to other gathering places!" Wu Junwen’s eyes flashed with determination; there was no other option.
"But we don’t know where these other gathering places are. And if those women catch us running or resisting, they might cut off our hands and feet, or worse, throw us out to feed the zombies. What if we fail?" another man voiced concerns.
"Yeah, with so many zombies outside, just a few of us running around recklessly is suicide," added another man, expressing hesitation as the critical moment approached.
Wu Junwen wanted to curse inwardly, but he had to reassure them.
"As for other gathering places in Mo Du, I know a bit. Some soldiers from the Mo Du Military District have gathered in the city. The former camp commander told me about some nearby gathering locations."
"Besides, you guys don’t have families here, unlike those other men who have wives and children in the hands of those women. Do you want to aimlessly wait for death like them? Our life here is no different from being in prison, and it’s even worse!"
It has to be said that Wu Junwen truly lived up to his reputation as a leader in peacetime; his ability to incite was indeed strong. The men who were originally worried and hesitant became firm upon hearing his words.
