Chapter 7: Rewards
Long Chen turned to face his clan. In a cold and resolute voice, he declared, "Listen well. You must understand that I won't always be here to protect you. The Long family is not built on one person alone. Now is the time to prove yourselves. Fight as if your lives depend on it. Don't think that just because I've stepped into the Innate Realm, we're safe. Don't rely on merely on yourselves!"
As his words fell, the previously stunned members of the Long family raised their weapons and roared in unison.
Their eyes burned with newfound determination and unity.
Seeing their rising morale, the enemy already weakened and disheartened began to falter.
Many attempted to flee, but fear of Long Chen's threat kept them frozen. Those without the courage to retreat were forced forward, stumbling into the ferocity of the Long family's vengeance.
Surrounded from all sides, the Feng family and their allies had no way out.
"Kill!"
The cry echoed as the Long family's disciples unleashed their wrath. Blades clashed, bodies fell, and the battlefield was consumed in chaos.
Among the fighters stood Long Chen. For someone of his level, this battle was child's play. He remained still, choosing not to interfere.
This was his clan's trial by fire, and they needed real battle experience. Unless someone was gravely injured, he would not step in.
