Chapter 118: Inauguration ceremony
[Outside the tower, In the base of the Trailblaze: ]
-Swooooooooosh.
A cab stopped right at the initial stairs of the neighborhood leading upward on the small hill as a group of six walked out of the car.
Thanking the driver, the group took out their luggage and bid farewell to the driver, seeing the car drive off onto the clear road.
There were no threats on these roads, in fact, ever since they entered this outskirts area of a humble neighborhood, they had started feeling much safer than they felt even within the city.
"Hmm...? Are we in the right place?" Lia was still confused why they were in a simple neighborhood instead of a guild headquarters.
Today was their inauguration ceremony and the first time they were visiting their guild’s headquarters and yet, what they were seeing was a simple neighborhood with many people going about with their daily routines.
"This surely seems to be the place." Their captain, Logan Sargent the mage replied positively while looking at his phone.
It surely showed that the location was correct, also, seeing as how there were banners around the walls here pointing at the uphill location with their guild’s name, they must be in the right place.
"Is this some kind of a secret base or something? Don’t tell me the actual base will be some kind of an underground bunker!" Lia’s imagination was running wild after seeing this happy neighborhood.
"That would be quite a sight, haha." Her teammates couldn’t help but chuckle at those words...
"Uncle Zo, do you have some salt?"
