Chapter 90 - 2nd Floor Cleared
"We were fighting Crabby..." KiRA was shocked to hear what was going on on the 2nd floor after the two of them came back from the cave.
Izzy was stunned to see what was going on the floor right now.
The way the association people were cleaning the places, the dead bodies, and collecting the remains of the fallen people was simply too harsh.
She was heartbroken to see the grieving members of the guilds, the association people who lost their squad members.
There were the captains who shed tears for the people that they had fought with, the ones who could not make it past this fight.
"It’s [Malkim]." KiRA knew exactly what this was and why all of this had happened.
While helping the people of the association with cleaning up and with purifying the corrupted lands, KiRA explained to Ziggy how there existed creatures who could corrupt and control other beings.
He told him about a plant monster species that existed above the 51st floor, mainly in the forests of the 60th floor.
Malkim or as the natives of that land called them, the Demonic Plants of Corruption.
These things were not powerful individually but they spread a virus like pollen that first affected those infected, taking away their rationality.
The pollen then took over the minds of the people and started corrupting their bodies. After a while, they would be affected by various abnormal conditions and mutations, fusion, as well as corrupt evolution wasn’t impossible either.
