Chapter 345: Killing Two Birds With One Stone.
Sarah brimmed with fear as she took a left turn, away from the rooms in the mansion. She acknowledged the fact she had no right to step her feet in the direction she currently heads but her goal was to achieve what she wanted from where she sneaked her way to, and it helped convert her fears to intrepidity.
Successfully overshadowing her fear with bravery and encouragement, she shrugged her shoulders and scanned the environment behind her before moving on.
This was her greatest opportunity. Logan surprisingly arranged all of his men for breakfast. He asked them to dine with him to celebrate their victory over Alfred - which was uncalled for since Alfred was put behind bars the previous day. To her, all celebrations would have been enjoyed on that day and not enjoyed as a crossover.
Well, this was Logan, the most weird person she had ever come across.
The brunette woman was also available in the dining hall and she sat beside Logan. She had a wide smile on her lips as she clicked her glass with that of the men in the room. The sight of that smile on Valeria’s lips irked Sarah and the brutal truth about everything was that Logan’s men respected her a lot.
Frustrated, Sarah paused to calm her raging heart. Her anger and jealousy were almost about to get the best of her and that was the last thing she needed at this moment because she needed to think straight.
Confident no one would come looking for her, she took her sweet time in staying strictly silent as she slid the glass door leading to the control room open. She couldn’t thank the heavens enough for a clean environment.
Seems Logan has to start organizing more breakfasts like this.
Three days ago, to her utmost surprise, she received the most shocking unexpected call that would be able to end her life. Receiving an ominous call while alone in her room having fantasies about Logan, she replied to the call without a second thought.
