Chapter 312: Fucking Girly.
After Arissa left the house to the hospital with Diego, Nicklaus placed several calls to different places, trying to schedule a perfect arena where their first night out would take place.
His phone kept on beeping with notifications from the higher-ups, his father, and the media. They all talked about the news and he needed a break away from the world.
He entirely ignored the news. He has done his part to please his wife and whoever the news displeases should keep that to himself.
Scrolling through his phone for date ideas, he sat back in his seat with a serious expression. His expression now was more serious than the one he usually has on.
His heart kept on pounding which was so unlike him. He wanted everything to be perfect for her and that was why he couldn’t relax.
She was beginning to appreciate the little things he does and that was everything to him. Arissa was his every second joy and he did not want anything more than a genuine smile always on her lips.
All through his life, Nicklaus has never been a romantic person. He has always been emotionally unavailable, emotionally clueless, more chilly than frost and his words more damaging than the edge of a sword which left him clueless about all of this, and doesn’t even know where to start.
He shut his eyes for a short moment and after parting his eyes, he sent a few messages of cancellation to the places he first called. He decided to change his arena.
He dialed Daniel’s number and the second the call connected, he went down straight to why he called. Unlike his usual cold stern voice, this time he sounded a little soft.
