Chapter 288: Healed Her Heart.
Mrs. Wyatt felt there was something more to the hug, especially when she began to feel Arissa’s vulnerable side. This was her first time feeling such emotion from her daughter-in-law and it left her in question.
"Are you alright?" Mrs. Wyatt asked, her voice motherly and filled with concern. She tried to pull away from the hug to see Arissa’s face but Arissa refused.
Arissa held Mrs. Wyatt closer, buried her face into the woman’s neck, and whispered, "I am alright. I want us to be this way for a few more seconds,"
Mrs. Wyatt smiled softly, "Okay," she agreed and began stroking Arissa’s silky brown hair.
Arissa shut her eyes and replayed Mrs. Wyatt’s words to her and the moment she did so, her memory went back to when she spoke about kids with Nicklaus over dinner.

’Unless you want to give me one,’
’Don’t give me baby fever if you aren’t ready to take full responsibility for it. Maybe when you’re ready, we can talk about it. The childbirth process is not an easy foot so I suggest you think about it first,"
She remembered their conversation that day and his words repeated themselves to her, pushing away all doubts and fears that suddenly grew in her heart.
