His Toxic Addiction

Chapter 267: She Was Meant To Be His.

"So you’re a drug dealer?" Valeria asked in a low tone. She walked behind him and sat in the space right next to him.

Logan turned to her. "You are not embarrassed by me?" he replied to her question with a question. He was kind of surprised when he heard how thoughtful and soft she sounded.

Valeria rolled her eyes, "Why should I be? I would never be embarrassed when it comes to you, and again, I think it was also my fault. I left you with nothing to live on," she said, in a regretful tune.

Logan disagreed with her words, "You did all that you could for me,"

Valeria shook her head, "I failed you. I should have stayed back and_"

Logan turned to her, "You did not fail me. You made me a thousand times proud to have you as a friend and as I was saying, becoming a drug dealer was none of your fault. It was a choice, my choice I had always been so prepared for,"

Valeria was stunned. "Always been prepared for?"

Logan took in a sharp inhale, "I grew up in a family of five. I was the same parent as my eldest sister who was my direct eldest, and then, we shared the same father with the last girl," he took in a deep breath and stared above Valeria’s head.

He went on, "We weren’t so rich but we were happy. Then, my stepmother ran a café shop and my father struggled day and night to organize his company and get it appreciated by the Lincolns." he stared into her eyes before asking, "You know the Lincoln family, right?"
