Chapter 206: Just His Contact.
Arissa sighed.
She just watched the room decoration but could not be a part of it. The Rainbow-styled nursery was spacious and lovely, a nice and accurate place she would love her child to grow in.
The decorations alone were beginning to provoke her ovaries. She frankly doesn’t want to imagine what next might be provoked if she joins in the laugh-filled decoration.
Her palm went to her stomach.
Rubbing it softly, she released a deep sigh before turning to the door. She wants to leave this place. She promised Mrs. Wyatt to help but she honestly couldn’t stand the sight of everything anymore.
Reaching for the doorknob, she heard Mrs. Wyatt’s voice. "Dear," and then, she heard footsteps. Not turning away from the door, she could tell that Mrs. Wyatt was already walking closer to her.
Mrs. Wyatt stood a step away from her. "Are you tired already?"
Arissa shook her head. Turning to Mrs. Wyatt, she said, "I haven’t touched a thing. I’m not tired, I just feel like leaving this place." she took a deep breath, "Maybe, I could prepare snacks for you all,"
Mrs. Wyatt smiled thinly. "It’s alright, Lyra would work on arranging the snacks. You can leave, it’s almost evening. For now, go back to your room and take a short rest if you want to. I’d invite you over when dinner is ready."
