Chapter 204: Reality Stuned Him.
Alfred felt a strong headache adding up.
He scattered through the whole files in his study room searching for those files. His heart hung on the borderline of going off and to keep on beating.
He was scared to his bones. His face was as pale as a ghost. He knows the file Logan has and strangely, he couldn’t find the remaining files that were meant to be with him.
Alfred’s face burned with anger. The universe seems to be playing with him. He knew he never made the mistake of placing those files in a place as open as his cupboard drawer but still, he rummaged through his desk drawers, and just as he had expected, nothing was found.
He stood still for a moment before combing his fingers through his hair. Currently, as he stands, he was penniless. If those minor files he was searching for go to the law, he was sure about going to prison because of them.
He wouldn’t have bothered if he had money.
He must have money to buy the law. Now he has nothing, not even a single coin, he felt torn between the world of the dead and the living.
What scared him the most, was he couldn’t give an account of how all of his money disappeared. His whole money had disappeared without a trace.
Logan was the only mastermind who could do this. That reality stunned him the most. How could Logan have access to his money?
