Chapter 192: He No Longer Held Back.
It was a stupendous view.
The couple standing there, hugging themselves in the dimly lit living room was beautiful as one could only see their curves and highlighted features. Anyone who sees them couldn’t be able to resist the urge of taking so many photos of them.
It was breathtaking, coupled with the thousands of whispers that swan across the room, saying out the couple’s unspoken words for them.
Nicklaus parted the hug. He turned to the table, and back to her. "Let’s eat," he invited her.
Arissa gave him a small smile, "Let’s eat,"
He held her hand and led her to the table. He got to the seat reserved for her, releasing her hand from his hold, he pulled out her seat for her.
He raised his face to her and with a gentle nod, he permitted her to seat. Seeing him in a new light, Arissa thinned her lips before taking her seat.
Nicklaus walked over to the seat before her. He sat down and before he would take a sip of his water, Arissa said an audible short prayer which he had no other option than to respect.
Ending the prayer, she flashed him a beautiful smile, glad he joined her in praying. In silence, they began eating.
No word was shared between them again but occasionally, Arissa peeped at him from under her eyes.
Nicklaus munched his meal slowly. One would think he was eating but in reality, he wasn’t. He doesn’t even know he was eating as he was so absorbed in staring at her as she ate.
