Earlier, wasn’t he the one eating expressionlessly as if she had prepared him a tasteless dish? Thinking about that, a surprised smile graced her features.
He never ceased to amaze her.
She raised her hand to his face and caressed his soft fine skin. This was another path where he amaze her - his smooth bronze skin and his ever-free handsomeness.
He doesn’t look like someone who applies a lot to his face but he was all smooth and hot even without trying.
She drew in a deep breath as she tried to control the pool that flooded between her legs when she felt him that way.
Nicklaus stared down at her before responding to her touches. His hands locked on the counter table sent fires down her midriff.
It wasn’t expected, so when Nicklaus’s fingers suddenly came in contact with her lower back which was one of her sensitive spots, she could not help to brush her fingers across his lips.
He saw red when she did that as, in the next moment, his fingers trailed down her neck, caressing her collarbones sensually while he watched the soft rise and fall of her chest, with affection-filled eyes.
Arissa drew in a sharp breath as she helplessly dropped her hands to her side in a surrendering way.
Nicklaus drew her closer to himself with his eyes securely on her. Tiling his head, he moved his lips closer to hers to seal them, and Arissa’s eyes shut in anticipation as those feelings returned, making her stupid again.
She waited for the kiss but after a few seconds nothing came and she instantly turned uneasy. Her eyes flickered open to see what happened but to her surprise, he was just staring at her - he never backed away.
