His Toxic Addiction

Chapter 130: His Little Rissa.

Richard stared at her, "Why are you so concerned with my father’s death?" he asked her again.

It sounded strange she always asked him questions like this. They haven’t bonded as family does ever since she came back. All she always does was ask about his father’s death case.

Could it be that she know something suspicious? No way, he thought. Arissa was so tender when that incident happened but her actions now are becoming questionable.

"Or, did your father send you?"

The sudden question surprised Arissa.

"What do you mean?"

Richard sat up straight, "As everyone knows, my mother still doesn’t want to associate with your father," he said.

Arissa only nodded as she waited patiently for him to continue. She don’t know where this was heading, why would he think her father sent her?

’Thou I don’t want to take sides, I can’t help but consider my mother’s suspicions,’ he added in his thought.

His mother was all round suspicious of Mr Lincoln on his father’s death and it was something he don’t want to care about because, in the first place, no one cares about his father’s death investigations - he was becoming suspicious of Arissa.

Could it be that his mother was right? But what’s Arissa’s involvement, why would she want to get involved with something she ought to know nothing about?
