His Toxic Addiction

Arissa bent down as she scooped Blu. into her arms. She has spent a lot of time cleaning and feeding Blu. and she is sorry she wasted more of the nice lady’s time.

She stood straight with Blu. under her arm as she faced her doot to lock it before going downstairs. And suddenly, she heard the closing of the door behind her, and due to her normal personality disorder of only minding her own business, she ignored the sound and only focused on locking her door.

"Who are you?" a husky voice asked behind Arissa and with the sound, she whirled around with familiarity to the voice.

Arissa gasped seeing who is before her. She faced the man before her with scrutinized eyes and lots of confusion in her head, "What are you doing here?" she shot her question at him as she drooped Blu. on the floor still looking at him ignoring his question.

Nicklaus’s thin lips tightened with recognition and his brows frowned at her question - how dare she ask me such a question in my house?

And with each passing second, the wild night they shared replayed in his memory. He looked at her copper brown hair, the first thing he noticed about her that night and now, it was held in a low ponytail as it showed all parts of her face.

And strangely, he still memorizes her face unlike his usual one-night stands - but on a serious note, how would he forget her? - Extremely sharp and edgy with her tongue but incredibly shy on the bed.

He let out a soft chuckle concerning his thoughts and this made the brows between Arissa’s eyes tighten.

"Excuse me, but did I say something funny?" Arissa asked him seeing how amused he is looking at her.
