His Toxic Addiction

Chapter 11: Annabelle

Arissa’s brow furrowed when she heard what the man before her said: "Does he mean am not good enough?" she asked herself inwardly. She snapped her head to him and seeing how he nonchalantly sipped his drink, she understood that he would say no sorry to her just like how he did not apologize to that lady.

And now, Arissa felt angry, stupid, and pathetic all at the same time. This is all her parent’s fault if not she would not have been this desperate coming down here.

Hot tears burned her eyes as she looked at the lone Alpha before her who haven’t said a word after his mocking smile. She stood up and walked away from him as his laughter just killed every atom of confidence she have left.

Arissa gave him one last glare before climbing down her stool and moving away seeing that the stranger is not even interested in her.

His handsomeness that drew her in was now ugly to her seeing how ugly he can be in the inside. He doesn’t even care if his words would hurt and now, the handsome adonis have shown her how blunt he could be.

She shrugged her shoulder as she tried to look nonchalant while walking away from him. She went back to her initial stool as the bar became back to normal again since she just left that comfort zone.

Arissa took her phone off her purse before texting Jocelyn [i’m so tired right now]

And almost immediately, her phone beeped [Why?]she read Jocelyn’s reply in a glance, [No one matches our taste?] Jocelyn’s message dropped again.

Arissa breathed out and rubbed her temples before texting back
