Chapter 17: Makings of a Super Marine
A marine Ship was sailing closer and closer to the Marines 16th Branch in the East Blue. The Marines 16th Branch ship had dropped it's anchor, and was stationary in the sea waiting. Calvin and all of the 16th branch marines, were out on the deck waiting orderly with their arms behind their backs.
A ship with a dog head holding a bone as the figurehead sailed up alongside the ship Calvin and company were on. The famous dog figure headed ship stopped and dropped it's anchor and a broad walkway plank was placed between the two ships.
Several people walked over onto the 16th branch ship, at the head of these persons were two men to note. The first was a man with marine coat draped over a matching beige suit and hat. The other was a tanned, broad-chested, muscular old man with a scar beside his eye, he wore a white suit and had a marine coat draped over his shoulders as well as a dog mask/hat on his head.
They were Bogard and Vice Admiral Garp! On arrival they were given a crisp salute.
Vice Admiral Garp looked as happy and care free as a child in a toy store! "Bwahahahaha! This little runt is the one that beat up Arlong?!"
Arlong the topic of the conversation, was surrounded by marines, and in chains glared at Garp but didn't dare to say anything.
Hearing that Calvin grinned from ear to ear, "Muhahahaahaha looks can be quite deceiving vice admiral Garp, after all a silly old man like you is one of the strongest marines in the world".
Garp doubled over laughing, "Bwaahahaha! You sure are funny. A little baby like you beating Arlong is a surprise, that's why I am here to see for myself hahahaha!"
Garp suddenly stomped on the ground and appeared in front of Calvin, his fist loomed large in Calvin's face as if it was a magnet attracting a piece of metal. "Think fast!"
