Chapter 39: 1st Year Final Exam
The night just before the in-class vote was about to begin.
Ichinose made a phone call to Nagumo.
It was for a final confirmation regarding the exam starting the next day.
"Nagumo-senpai. It's Ichinose."
"Honami, huh? If you're calling me, it must be about that matter, right?"
"Yes. I talked to everyone in class today. So, I thought I should check in with you one more time to confirm things regarding this situation."
While Ichinose spoke in a serious tone, Nagumo responded with a carefree laugh.
"My conditions haven't changed. Collect every last point from all your classmates. If you do that, I'll lend you my points. I won't allow anyone to get off easy without suffering."
"That's right. I think so too."
Letting them keep their own points and escape unscathed was unacceptable.
That was one of Nagumo's conditions.
