Chapter 8: Ability: ???
There were guards in full gear with black armor and weaponry all over the area.
Lukas didn’t know what to expect and walked into the building.
Inside the lobby, there were many people in different attires.
Some wore khaki uniforms like adventurers while some wore suits and stood around with their heads held high.
They all had different insignias on their attire, and they stood around in groups.
After Lukas entered the lobby, most of them took a quick glance at him with a confused look.
He looked around and realized that he was the only young person who was high school age and alone.
He ignored their glances and walked over to the counter.
At the counter, a lady in a tight red dress, with the name tag Mandy on her chest, smiled and asked, "Welcome to the Awakened Center. How may I help you today?"
Her superior, Sam, wasn’t as friendly and he nudged her and whispered to her, "Don’t waste too much time on him. Attend to the needs of the awakened."
She gave his superior an awkward smile and turned her focus back to Lukas.
