Chapter 31: Exposed?
When he first cultivated after activating the rune, while wholly focused on guiding the refined mana and observing the rune, he had also noticed the commotion the mana converging toward him was causing.
Unfortunately, he had already started cultivating and couldn’t stop. Fortunately, though, it appeared no one in the family noticed it and he was safe.
After that, he had decided to cultivate very late in the night but after returning from Amara’s place, he didn’t want to waste a few more hours doing nothing, so he just began cultivating, hoping that since he wasn’t caught the first time, he wouldn’t be caught this time either, especially since around an hour had passed and night had deepened.
But as they say, luck is not constant and he was caught. However, he wasn’t too worried. At worst, he could just reveal he was now able to cultivate earlier.
So, at ease, he walked over and opened the door.
Upon seeing who it was, he relaxed a bit more.
In front of him was standing Simone, dressed in a beautiful red dress that enhanced her beauty and elegance with one of the female Knights who guarded her door.
"Hello, Aunt Simone. How come you are here at this time?" asked Lukas after briefly admiring her, a curious and puzzled expression on his face.
Simone stared at him, speechless seeing him act as if he was unaware.
Then she said, "Aren’t you going to invite me in?"
"Oh, sure. Please come in." said Lukas, stepping to the side to give her way.
"You wait here." Saying this to the Knight, Simone entered the villa and Lukas closed the door after giving the Knight a nod.
