Xavier wanted to feel more of her but they had all the time in the world to go slow for now. He didn’t care who might come to the library door or their gates since he wouldn’t leave Selene’s side to entertain anyone else. His mind was fixed on her, noticing even the slightest movement she made.
Selene did not look away from Xavier. The nervousness she once believed she would experience was not there. There was anticipation and excitement over what could happen in this small room.
Selene noticed his playful side was replaced with a serious expression. Unlike their first time, Xavier might not stop before they became more well-acquainted with each other’s bodies.
It puzzled her when his hand under her dress didn’t go any further. Selene was anticipating the reason his hand was there. She didn’t dive into her desires like her peers might have but it didn’t mean Selene was oblivious to the acts performed between a man and woman.
Selene had her fair share of stories she heard and almost moments with a man. Like everyone else around the kingdom, she had her fair share time of lusting for someone and taking care of it herself.
Xavier stared at her bare neck. He had the thought of buying her a pretty necklace just for a moment like this. He wanted to see it nestled just above the swell of her breasts.
It was likely that Selene didn’t know what she started today or perhaps from the moment she agreed to become his wife.
The way he wanted her was different to how he was with others. It was different when you cared for the other person as he felt for Selene. It could have been more than a small interest that he felt for her all along since the time they met as children.
