Chapter 14 The Enemy from a Past Life

The two seated themselves in a vehicle and made their way back to the village. As they neared the entrance, from a distance they could see Luo Dashan and Luo Honglan squatting near the village entrance.

Fang Pingying shouted to them, "Dad, Hong Lan, what are you doing here?"
Hong Lan heard Fang Pingying's call and they both hurried over, "Sister-in-law, you're finally back. You didn't return yesterday, the family was worried all night, fearing something had happened to you outside."
Seeing her run till she was out of breath, Fang Pingying patted her back to ease her breathing, "It's nothing, just that your brother's leg wasn't set properly before, and they had to reset it at the hospital yesterday."
Upon hearing this, Luo Dashan grew anxious and looked at Luo Zhiyong's leg, "Zhiyong, is your leg alright?"
Pointing at Luo Zhiyong's plastered leg, Fang Pingying said, "Dad, don't worry, his leg is in a cast now, there's nothing wrong anymore, the doctor said it'll heal with proper rest."
"That's good, let's go home," Luo Dashan said, requesting both of them to head home.
Luo Honglan took the things from Fang Pingying's hand with one hand and playfully said, "Sister-in-law, was it fun going to the county? Is there a lot for sale there?"
"There's certainly more there than here," Fang Pingying looked at her and asked, "Have you never been to the county?"
