Chapter 170: How Many Did You Just Say?
Each of them continued to fight without even knowing how much time had passed. Without realising that days had gone by, without closing their eyes once, without drinking a drop of water or eating anything, they continued to slay monsters as if nothing else mattered.
Thousands of monsters had turned into tens of thousands, tens of thousands into hundreds of thousands, and then millions had begun to form in the vast land.
Still, each horde of monsters was wiped out from the land in mere minutes.
Despite all this, nothing had changed. Each of them was on the verge of losing their minds. They could even feel the veins in their brains pulsing one by one...
They kept turning these thoughts over in their minds. Each of them kept thinking that Atlas might be in an even worse situation right now, and each of them was doing everything they could to save him, but they themselves did not know how what they were doing would help him.
Where was Atlas? Was he alive? Was he dead? Was he hungry? Was he thirsty? Was he tired? Was he okay?
Every question flashed directly through their minds. With each passing second, their stress levels rose, and the feeling that their brains might explode grew even stronger.
At that moment, something unexpected happened:
[Is this how far you all can go? Killing some monsters? Is that it?]
Above them, on the upper part of the vast land, these questions written in bright white letters had confused each of them. What could they do when they didn’t even know how to get out of there?
"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!" Cordelia shouted suddenly.
