Chapter 163: Just Two Of Them
The Sages began to slowly move towards the area where the others had gone. Even though none of them understood what was happening, it was clear that someone had died. It must have been someone beloved. Since they knew they were in the Sun Palace, only three names came to mind as possible candidates. The fact that they were thinking this might be Atlas’s memories made everything even worse.
After all, none of them had such a memory.
"Eva," Cordelia said suddenly.
As the group quickly began to follow those around them, they arrived at an area. An area with thousands of chairs lined up, almost every chair occupied, with people from dozens of different races.
At the far end of the area, a coffin could be seen. In front of the coffin were three people. It was possible to tell who they were with just one glance.
In the middle of the trio stood a young man with jet-black hair tinged with purple, flanked on either side by two people with golden hair.
As the group began to advance and drew closer to the coffin, they were overwhelmed by the sounds of weeping rising from the crowd. Nevertheless, they reached the coffin shortly thereafter.
They saw Eva, who was lying in the coffin and already had pale skin, now with a face that had turned grey from death. They saw the devastation on Atlas’s face and noticed that Aelia and Aether were trying to calm him down.
"It’s all my fault," Atlas said suddenly in a low voice.
