Chapter 158: The Cave
When Atlas pointed to the mountains, Cordelia had left him in the area they believed to be the centre of the mountains area, and then each Sage had flown up the mountains, all the way to the clouds.
With all this, there was now one thing that each of them knew. Each of them could sense the meaning of the others and could see Atlas, even though he was below the clouds.
It was now clear that it was time to begin.
As soon as the Sages took their positions, an incredible wave of mana spread out from Juliet, who was standing on the shortest mountain, in a way that cannot be described in words.
Atlas could feel his entire body being pierced by the mana, and this was only a tiny fraction of Juliet’s mana. The other Sages had not even begun to channel their mana into the mountains they were standing on.
Nevertheless, this pressure could make him feel so bad that it could actually kill him.
Even though the difference between him and the Sages made him feel strange deep down, that was precisely why they were the most powerful beings in the world.
It was impossible to get close to them.
However, immediately after Juliet, Bellatrix, then Cain, then Constantine, then Talon, then Cassandra, and finally Cordelia, the most powerful of them all, began to spread their mana from the highest point of the mountain to the entire mountain and its surroundings.
