Chapter 62: The Hard Way
"Would you look at that. He is better than I thought." Cassandra couldn’t help but say.
Cassandra was frankly surprised by Atlas’s fighting style and the fact that he had enough experience to recognise her.
Yet even this strong woman herself knew that within the barrier that this entire army was trying to cross, there was something that Atlas could not defeat and could most likely destroy the army.
This put Cassandra in a ready position. Maybe she wasn’t going to help them ’directly’, but she hadn’t made any rules about not reducing their burden.
And that meant that Cassandra didn’t even need to tell them what she would do if she thought they were struggling in some way, or if she thought they were still going to continue.
The swirling mana around the barrier grew more and more gigantic with each passing second and spread outwards. The huge barrier began to tremble, albeit slowly, and even some parts of it began to break down.
The wizards were managing to fulfil their task well.
Now the rest of the task would be left to those who would stand against the dangers that were likely to come out when the barrier was broken.
Almost four hundred wizards with six and seven magic rings would be incapacitated after casting their spells.
This meant that the dwarf Duke Bhagholir, a sixth-grade aura master, and his family’s subordinates, the lowest of whom was a fourth-grade aura warrior, would move forward.
The almost thirty minutes of intense yet fast-paced fighting up to this point would turn into a colossal mess once the barrier was untied, or better still, thought to be broken.
