Chapter 40: Perseus
Atlas had spent almost an hour doing detailed research. He wanted the person he would choose, a hero, the ’real’ hero.
After all, someone with a bit of strength could kill a mighty monster or save a country.
The person he was looking for was a person who could disregard his life without even thinking once, who would risk dying to save everyone as much as he could. It was not only someone who had killed a monster, but also someone who could even risk the destruction of his soul.
After this one hour, he was able to find this person.
In front of the huge system window in front of him, [Perseus] was written in a huge way.
He was considered one of the greatest heroes who ever lived. His father was Zeus himself, recognised as the king of the gods.
Perseus was personally sent by Athena to kill Medusa, one of the gorgons. Because of the danger of the mission, Athena and Hermes had to help the young hero.
He tracked the three sisters, Stheno, Euryale and Medusa for a long time. The fact that only Medusa was mortal among these three gorgon sisters was the biggest factor that showed why Athena issued the death warrant. Perseus somehow manages to wake up Medusa, one of the sisters he finds while the three sisters are sleeping.
Because of the powers of the three sisters’ gaze, Perseus manages to set up a plan in a short time and manages to direct it to Medusa’s face with the reflection reflected from his shield. At the end Medusa was killed by Perseus by cutting off her head.
