Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes

Chapter 10: Mother of the Night

Nyx was created by Chaos at the beginning of all things and was considered the most powerful of all the gods and goddesses in existence.

Even Zeus, considered the king of the gods, was wary of angering or disrespecting the goddess. Some sources state that Nyx held the leashes of Erebus, who chose not to make himself prominent, and that she was even the one who ensured that all Chaos-Born did not dominate the rest.

Known as the Mother of the Eternal Night, Nyx was said to be the night itself, where the darkness of Erebus covered endlessly.

Her beauty could perhaps be described, but the priests and priestesses who worshipped her, at least those who had the chance to see her, are on record as saying that Nyx's beauty could never be fully described.

Nevertheless, Nyx's worshippers would describe her as follows:

"She was a beautiful beauty with black and purple hair with stars embroidered on it, made of wire thread sewn onto a perfect body created by Chaos's own hands... When you look into the eyes of the goddess, you feel as if you are looking at eternity, life and sovereignty itself. When you hear her voice, you hear the voice of the universe, and when she looks at you, you can do nothing but bow down to her infinite beauty."

Indeed, Nyx was the only one recognised as the greatest of the great.

And she was also the only one who had been following the story of Atlas from the beginning. Inside Olympus, even her own children couldn't understand why their mother kept watching such a child.

Nyx had accidentally found him bleeding and trying to live on one side of the world. This was the moment in Atlas' previous life when he had almost died on his way to the academy.
