Chapter 109: I wont give up on him
"I can’t return your feelings. I hope you forget about it."
Sarah Blackwood still recalled Sebastian Crowne’s words. His words had cut through her heart. She loved him dearly, and all he did was say "I hope you forget about it." As if it was that simple. No, she wouldn’t give up on him. Since childhood, Sarah Blackwood used to get everything she desired. She had everything she had ever hoped for.
She wasn’t used to rejection. And Sebastian Crowne was someone she had desired the most. How could she give up on him? She felt a certain degree of guilt for doing something bad to Jazmine Harrison. But Sarah Blackwood thought she had done enough good for Jazmine.
"If I hadn’t brought her to Hong Kong, she would have been dead by now. She owes her life to me. So why should I give up Sebastian for her?"
With that thought in mind, Sarah Blackwood had abruptly canceled her celebration party and headed straight for the penthouse. After entering the house, the first thing she said was:
"Give up on Sebastian Crowne." Sarah Blackwood’s eyes were sharp. She didn’t look like the usually gentle and warm Sarah. There was a very different air around her. Jazmine Harrison could never have guessed she was capable of looking that arrogant.
"Why?" Jazmine was confused.
"Because I love him. I have loved him since the day I first met him. I wouldn’t tolerate anyone else having him. Jazmine, if you have any regard for the friendship between us, from this day onwards, you won’t ever see him." There was no hint of flexibility in her expressions.
"Sarah, I love him."
Hearing it angered Sarah Blackwood. "Do you think you deserve it? Someone like you doesn’t even deserve to make acquaintance with him. Yet you did. Only because of me. Don’t you think you’re being too greedy by wanting more? Let me tell you—no one is going to accept you with him. His family is going to hate you because of your status. Are you willing to make him suffer because of your greed?"Sarah didn’t know about Jazmine’s actual background. Up until now, only Sebastian Crowne knew.
Jazmine Harrison fell silent, trying to understand everything that was happening. The change in Sarah Blackwood had still been too drastic for her to get acclimated to.
