Rebirth: Revenge of the abandoned heirress

Chapter 89: Amelia rise

"How can you say that with certainty?" Jazmine Harrison didn't want her hopes to get up. "The first explanation is more reasonable than the second."

"Actually, I tried hard to find any evidence related to your mother's birth to see if she was actually your grandfather's daughter. But it had been so long, and all the records were lost. So I couldn't reach a conclusion from that. So I checked the records for the day you were born. I got the records from the hospital and matched the facts. It was your mother who gave birth to you. I even confirmed that from a retired nurse, an eyewitness. I offered her a huge amount if she told us that either you were brought into the delivery room from outside. But she was adamant that nothing like that had happened. I even checked the CCTV recordings personally."

Lucian Smith had indeed worked hard.

"Maybe the girl born that day was exchanged with me later."

"Not possible. The hospital is a privileged one and keeps a drop of blood from the newborn in records for the DNA recording. And it matched yours."

Jazmine Harrison fell back and rubbed her temples. "I have no idea how to follow all that. Just look into my mother's death details to see if it was she who died or not." Jazmine Harrison still didn't let her hopes go up. Because even if it was not her mother's body she had found in the basement, there was no telling she was still alive.

"Alright, President."

Jazmine Harrison hung up and made her way up to her room. The fashion show had just ended. Caroline Anderson hadn't shown up the whole time. Jazmine Harrison planned to stop by Amelia's room before heading for her own. "Now that Caroline Anderson was not signed in, it would be Amelia they would sign." She wanted to congratulate her.

The floor was the one where all the A-list models were located, including David Anderson. It was second only to the top floor. When Jazmine Harrison passed by David Anderson's room, she paused for a second and glanced at it.

"Did David Anderson himself remember what he said to me that night he was drunk?" Jazmine Harrison wondered. He hadn't said anything to her again. He had never even mentioned it, as if he hadn't said those words to him in the first place. "Maybe he doesn't remember it."

Jazmine Harrison shrugged off the thought and continued to walk toward Amelia's room. She had promised Sebastian Crowne that she wouldn't let any other man touch her. The promise included her avoiding David Anderson at all costs.
