Chapter 79: Handsome date
When Jazmine Harrison opened the door, for a moment, she forgot everything.
In front of her stood an incredibly handsome man. His eyes shone like dark gems. His features were clear and chiseled. He was tall, almost a head taller than Jazmine. In the fitting custom-made tuxedo, he looked unreasonably hot.
He was already ridiculously attractive, to begin with, but within that suit, his allure went to an entirely different level. Jazmine was so lost staring at him that she didn't even notice him placing fresh roses in her hands.
"Um..." Jazmine didn't know what to say. She had planned to make him feel inferior with her looks, but it seemed like the situation had inverted. She was the one feeling inferior in front of him.
"You look beautiful," Sebastian Crowne said smoothly.
And, uncontrollably, Jazmine blushed.
It was not her fault, alright? Who wouldn't blush being called beautiful by such a hot piece of meat?
"Come in. Let me place the roses in a vase." Jazmine said the first thing that came to her mind. For some reason, her mind had gone blank in front of him. She was no longer the calm, collected woman she prided herself on being.
Facing away from him while putting the roses in a vase, she gritted her teeth and took a few deep breaths to bring herself under control. Finally, when her heart slowed down, with a calm smile, she turned to face him.
"I agreed to dinner with you. I think it should make up for you saving me. After today, we'll be even."
Sebastian remained standing at the door. He didn't come in.
