Chapter 64: First indirect kiss!
"You are very suspicious, Dr. Crowne. I can't make myself believe that in such a big city like Hong Kong, it was a coincidence that it was you who found me." Jazmine Harrison voiced out her suspicion. She expected to be given a satisfactory explanation. But she was given a totally different response.
"It was no coincidence."
Jazmine Harrison was perplexed.
"Were you following me?" Suffused with confusion, her voice was less calm than she intended.
Sebastian Crowne chuckled, sat on a couch cross-legged, and gazed at his Jazmine who looked so adorable when confused. No, it was not only when she was confused. She looked adorable all the time. Sebastian Crowne just couldn't decide when she looked more appealing. When she was angry? When she was confused? Or when she was acting smart? He couldn't help himself. He was totally head over heels for her. "I don't pursue a beautiful woman from the shadows. If I like someone, I pursue them openly." His eyes deeply pierced her heart. For a moment, she forgot to breathe.
She quickly averted her eyes. Her heart was beating fast. Was that doctor using some sort of satanic trick once again? How could he make her feel so? She calmed herself and looked at him again.
"I'm married to someone whom you can't afford to offend. So keep your sweet words to yourself." She was blunt with her words. She had had enough of him.
"And what if I can offend him?" He raised his eyebrow silently. Something was very different about his aura.
