Chapter 233 - 19: Be with you [M]
Steve quickly ran to Nathaniel and snatched the washing machine like a mere ball. "Sir, you should take Mr. Arden away from here. The pheromones of three alphas must be making it hard for him. I will take care of this matter."
"Very well. Make sure that this bastard won’t get away with this," Nathaniel answered as he pulled Killian up. His face darkened when he saw the bruises on his wrists.
Killian’s body was weakened but upon contact with whom he believed was his fated partner, his pheromones surged up, and Nathaniel noticed it. He quickly carried Killian out of the unit and headed to his car.
Thankfully, it was already dark, so they didn’t bump into someone.
Nathaniel pursed his lips, his jaw clenched and his knuckles whitened from the tight grip on the steering wheel. He was holding back. For some weak pheromones that Killian emitted, he was riled up.
For a dominant like him, this number of pheromones doesn’t affect him normally, but for some reason, he found himself barely holding his senses together. They arrived at his house, a mansion on the outskirts of the central district which some parts were still under construction.
Killian was writhing in his seat, clutching his body from pain. He immediately carried him to another room’s bathroom and settled him down on the tub. He filled the tub with cold water without undressing the omega’s clothes.
Nathaniel feared that if he did, the last thread of reason he was barely holding onto would snap.
"Sir...Steve..." Killian mumbled, reaching out for the alpha.
Nathaniel walked away. That name woke him up. He should not do it with Killian, not when he’s in heat like this. He wasn’t in his right mind, so Nathaniel should be the sane one.
He grabbed a towel from the cabinet and put it beside the tub, then he made sure that the water was cold enough to calm Killian down.
