Chapter 465: Epilogue
The sun dipped low over the horizon, bathing the grand estate of the Lancaster in hues of gold and soft pink. Flowers lined the garden arches, chandeliers hung from towering trees, and a carpet of white petals stretched down the aisle. It wasn’t just a wedding, it was a declaration of healing, love, and the beginning of forever.
Three couples stood before the gathered crowd, radiant in their own way.
Rock and Vernice beamed as they held hands, tears already glistening in their eyes. Rock, fully recovered and stronger than ever, looked at Vernice like she was the miracle that saved him. Vernice, in a stunning champagne gown, smiled like she’d been waiting her whole life for this moment.
Beside them, Rain stood in a breathtaking ivory gown, her hair woven with delicate blossoms. She looked calm, regal, and deeply happy, as Alexander took her hand in his. His eyes never left hers, full of quiet devotion. His other hand rested protectively over the small swell of her belly.
And next to them, Sanya, five months pregnant and glowing, giggled softly as William adjusted the hem of her veil. He whispered something in her ear, making her blush and elbow him playfully.
The crowd of guests, family, friends, and familiar faces, watched as the officiant stepped forward.
"Today, we are not just witnessing a union," the officiant began, voice deep and warm, "but the merging of stories, of battles fought, of hearts healed, and of families born again."
As each couple exchanged vows, tearful, heartfelt, and sometimes humor-laced, the garden echoed with applause, laughter, and a few sobs.
"You may now kiss your brides."
And just like that, three kisses sealed three promises.
The reception that followed was no less grand. Tables overflowed with food, laughter echoed beneath fairy lights, and music filled the night air.
