Chapter 390: Keep Me Awake**
The night was chilly, but with Alexander’s arm wrapped around her, Rain felt so warm. "This is my first time sleeping outside like this," she murmured against Alexander’s chest. They were inside the spacious campervan, lying on the bed, listening to the soothing sound of the waves.
She felt refreshed after changing into the more comfortable sleepwear Alexander had brought. She blushed, thinking about what they might end up doing, especially with her wearing just a below-the-knee sleepwear shirt. She hadn’t bothered to wear underwear, knowing it would only become a hindrance later.
Will he tease me? she thought, feeling a bit embarrassed, but it was too late for regrets now.
"Hmm, if you’re worried about our safety, don’t be. Our men secured the area, and they’re practically on standby," he assured her.
She bit her lip when her leg moved and brushed against his crotch. She felt how hard he already was.
I feel like such a pervert, she scolded herself, trying to focus on their current conversation. She chuckled and said, "Ah, but isn’t that a bit exaggerated?"
Alexander kissed her forehead and muttered, "It’s necessary. I don’t want the same mistake happening again, like when Michael managed to abduct you. Because of that incident, I also lost precious memories with you."
She snuggled closer into his embrace and hummed, "Hmm, we’ll create more memories together in the future."
To be honest, she was anticipating it and couldn’t wait to create many more beautiful memories with Alexander in the future. She bit her lower lip, trying her best not to give Alexander any hints yet since she still needed to check and confirm. What if I’m just delayed? she wondered. But then again, she had always had regular menstruation.
