Chapter 257: Chilling Orders
Dina smiled with satisfaction, watching Sanya lying unconscious on the floor. Michael had been generous enough to supply her with the men she needed to pull off the abduction.
She hadn’t been able to get to Rain directly, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t hurt someone close to her.
Sanya was an easy target and Dina intended to make Rain pay by destroying her best friend first. The thought filled her with immense satisfaction. She had been itching to put that arrogant girl in her place... someone who foolishly thought she could stand on Dina’s level, even dare to fight her.
With one last look, she smirked. Rain would be devastated once she realized what had happened to Sanya. It was exactly what she wanted, a way to inflict pain on Rain without having to lay a hand on her directly. This was her final act of revenge before disappearing out of the country.
Dina stepped back, her heels clicking against the cold floor as her men bound Sanya’s wrists and ankles. She was unconscious now, but Dina knew the fear would sink in the moment she woke up, alone and helpless.
One of the men turned to her. "She’s secured. What do you want us to do with her now?"
Dina’s smile grew colder. "Take her to the old ship. I want her hidden and keep her there until I decide what’s next. Also, make sure you get rid of all of her belongings."
She knew Rain was a capable woman; if she found out Sanya had been abducted, she could easily enlist Alexander’s help. Dina had to be meticulous.
The man nodded, lifting Sanya effortlessly and carrying her toward a waiting van. Rain might have thought herself safe, but she’d been foolish to believe Dina would just let things end without retribution. Now, she would feel the sting of loss, the helplessness she had been enduring.
