Chapter 151 - 150: Car Accident? Normal Operation?
After giving himself one last look in the mirror—half to admire, half to double-check he hadn’t forgotten anything—he grabbed his phone, keys, and sunglasses, and headed downstairs.
His sleek black car, polished to a mirror shine, sat waiting in the garage like a loyal beast ready to purr. He slid into the driver’s seat, the leather interior cool and luxurious against his skin. One press of the button, and the engine came alive with a low, satisfying growl.
"Let’s go," he muttered with a smirk, shifting into reverse and easing out of the garage like a man who had absolutely no stress in life.
Victor and Kaelan following behind in a car just like usual.
The morning sun was out, sky was clear, and the streets were just busy enough to feel alive but not annoying. Windows slightly down, music on low—some chill instrumental with a smooth beat that matched his mood perfectly.
He wasn’t rushing. He didn’t need to. When you had your life in order and your outfit made you feel like a million bucks, even a normal drive to campus felt like a scene straight out of a movie.
He stopped at a red light, drummed his fingers on the steering wheel, and grinned to himself. Life felt good. Simple, clean, drama-free.
"Huh!?"
Out of the corner of his eye, something—or rather, someone, a familiar silhouette, caught his attention. Raising his sunglasses up, he turned the volume down to get a better look and squinted through the windshield.
Yup. Eyebrow raise: activated.
There she was.
