Chapter 133 - 132: Digital World

Ping.

The sound of a Windows startup echoed through emptiness.

Rex opened his eyes—not to a room, not even a space, but a blank gray interface that floated in cyberspace. Around him hovered floating toolbars, palettes, and shortcuts suspended in midair like artifacts from a half-loaded dream. Layers stacked in the air like transparent glass panes, humming with potential. In the center of it all, a glowing stylus pulsed with quiet energy.

A voice rang out, smooth and laced with mischief:

"So. You’ve tried fast. You’ve tried soft. Ready for control?"

From the void emerged a figure not so much stepping forward as materializing pixel by pixel—otherworldly, elegant, composed. His hair shimmered like silver ink caught in low gravity. His coat drifted behind him as if the air itself revered his presence.

"Yoshitaka Amano," the figure said with a graceful bow. "Welcome back to the future."

He snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, the void exploded into color. The sky turned into layers of translucent grids and brush options. Tool wheels orbited like planets. Canvases floated freely, morphing in size and shape, some expanding to stretch across galaxies, others compact as a coin.
