Chapter 28: Logan’s Return

"Dude, Logan's here."

A hushed voice came from behind him as a student pointed towards the door.

Rex raised his eyebrows and turned to look towards the entrance.

There stood Logan with a bandaged nose, flanked by his lackeys, despite his comical appearance, his expression was anything but humorous. As he seemed particularly aggressive.

The room fell into complete silence as every student turned to watch, their expressions ranging from curiosity to apprehension.

Logan's eyes darted around as if searching for something.

Finally, spotting Rex—who was surrounded by students—a sneer crept on his face, as he swaggered toward him as if he was the main character of this novel.

As he approached, the students instinctively parted to give way.

Reaching Rex's seat, he looked at him condescendingly with his hands folded in front of his chest.

Rex, however, remained completely unfazed. He leaned back leisurely in his chair, meeting Logan's gaze with unbothered ease.

The others also watched with their hearts stuck in their throats. Even though many students hated Logan, they really didn't dare confront him, it was basically academic suicide in their eyes.
