Stepping outside the box, he took off the glasses and carefully stored them in his pocket (system warehouse).
The library was nearly empty by now with just a few scattered students who could be ignored as the library is their second home.
The golden rays of the setting sun falling gently on the bookshelves, creating a peaceful scene.
However, what he didn't know was that the group of boys from earlier was still lurking inside, secretly peeking at him.
Seeing him finally come out, they exchanged looks of shock. Even though it was already quite late, they just couldn't bring themselves to leave, especially after witnessing their "goddess" sitting with another man.
Seeing Rex, they all shed some silent tears; it seemed like their unattainable goddess was about to fall from her altar.
But Rex knew none of this, even if he knew he wouldn't care what a few random guys thought.
Stepping outside, he took a deep breath, savoring the mesmerizing sunset in front of him.
After a while, he slowly made his way toward the parking lot, occasionally spotting other students also enjoying the peaceful moment.
