Chapter 20: Professor’s Decision
Professor Clement's sharp gaze locked onto Rex.
Rex met his stare calmly, his expression unwavering.
Seeing this, the crowd gulped, eagerly anticipating the final showdown.
The room was so silent that the faint hum of the overhead lights seemed deafening.
But strangely, after waiting for a while, there was no sound—the expected outburst from the professor never came.
Instead, the professor simply adjusted his glasses, his sharp eyes sweeping across the room. His gaze momentarily settled on Logan, who lay out cold on the floor, before flicking to Rex, standing tall with an expression of utter indifference.
Everyone looked at the scene, confusion visible in their eyes.
The entire dining hall felt like it was holding its breath.
Finally, it was Professor Clement who broke the silence.
"You! And you!" He pointed at Andrew and his lackeys. "What are you gawking at like idiots? Can't you see he's injured? Hurry up and take him to the university infirmary! Heck, take him straight to the hospital!"
Hearing this, Andrew and his lackeys visibly flinched, before rushing toward the unconscious Logan.
