Chapter 4: First Mission
And just then, his cell phone rang. He picked it up but found that it was an unknown number.
After thinking about the system's reply, he guessed that it was a call from the Arcanum Security Company.
So, he immediately answered the call. A thick, manly voice came from the other side.
"Hello, are you Mr. Rex Lee?"
"Yes, I am," he replied.
After hearing his reply, the other side immediately became two points more respectful and started talking.
"Hello, sir, my name is William Stanley. I am branch manager of the Arcanum Security Company, Los Angeles branch."
"Okay, what can I do for you?" Even though he had guessed it, he decided to play dumb.
"I just received instructions from headquarters that, from today, you have full control over the Los Angeles branch. Do you have time to discuss it personally?" William replied cautiously.
After hearing his reply, Rex was confused for a moment.
Isn't it the ownership? Why did it suddenly become just a branch?
