Chapter 444: All He Ever Wanted
Talia ran to Arthur with the brightest smile and hugged him tightly.
"This is a pleasant surprise!" she stood on her tiptoes and kissed his lips. "You wouldn’t believe what happened today."
Talia then talked about everything that happened in the atelier and Arthur listened to everything she said with a smile. He was excited to hear her story because she changed in front of him and it was a bonus to her smiling face.
Both had dinner and took a short walk in the garden simply chatting. It had just snowed and both of them walked holding hands as the snow crushed underneath their boot.
Bear followed them although he wasn’t very keen on a walk in the night. Suddenly Bear started barking at the gazebo near the pond. And they could hear some ruffling noise from there.
Talia looked around for the security officers and found a couple of Lambert’s men staying far away. She looked at Arthur and Arthur held the leash of Bear and commanded it to return and Bear followed Arthur without making further noise.
But Talia was not willing to leave Lambert who is on a secret tryst with Jolene and shagging her in the gazebo out in the open.
"Lambert! Is that you?" she pretended to not understand what might be happening and walked closer to the gazebo. She heard Jolene chiding Lambert in a whisper and still pushed through.
"Get back, orang-utan! If you take one step closer, I will shoot you dead!" he said and that didn’t stop Talia. She even turned on the torch in her phone to make them more uncomfortable.
"Talia! Get back!" Arthur didn’t want her to disturb another man’s fun time, but he had a feeling she won’t listen to him.
"I’m going to tell on you, Lambert. What are you even doing here at this time of the night?" Talia stepped closer.
