"Why?" Talia’s voice was shaking as she looked at Lord Lockhart with her eyes filled with tears. "Why are you saying these despicable words? What are you trying to say? Cyrus was a psychopath?" she snorted and wiped the tears off her eyes. "What do YOU know?"
Talia really couldn’t understand why Lord Lockhart is trying to change every memory of Cyrus in her heart? What would he gain by it?
"You don’t believe his own father, Talia? He never cared for anyone..." Camilla walked closer to Talia and Talia took a couple steps back to stay away from her. " You didn’t know what he did to my-"
"He saved you! He saved you and your son!" Talia gritted her teeth. "You ingrate said so yourself that he decided to save your life and so he made me kill him and even was willing to... And now... I can’t believe you... What kind of person you have to be to try and... Despicable!"
Talia pressed her lips together, gritting her teeth and her eyes reddened as tears brimmed in her eyes. She expected one thing and what was happening here is entirely different.
"I was trying to help you. But you’re as..." Lord Lockhart was going to say ’stupid’ but he held back. The one standing in front of him has entirely blocked him and is not willing to listen a single thing he is going to say.
