Chapter 156: A Dangerous Game
"Jordy!" Vivian squealed as she stood up, "Aww, Sweetie... You even brought me flowers... Roses? Ah, they smell so good! How amazing! Come here... Give your sister a hug," she said while Jordan grumbled.
"Vivi, you pig! Stop squealing!" Jordan gritted his teeth, "Can’t you see, the whole restaurant is looking at us!"
"Aww! Look at you! You’ve grown big! But why have you lost weight? And what’s with the dark circles under your eye? Are you that overworked? Quit your job! Sister will give you pocket money... Poor baby! "
"What the-" Jordan tried to push his sister’s hands patting his arms away, "It’s not even a week since I saw you! Why are you acting like we haven’t seen each other for years?"
Talia smiled seeing the two siblings bantering like children. But she wasn’t in the mood to listen to it as her mind was filled with expectations to meet the man of her hearts.
She couldn’t see anything to her right since Jordan and Vivian were standing there and so she scooted to the left to look behind Jordan.
But as she scooted she felt something behind her back and she with a gasp, turned to look.
A bunch of red roses came to her view and she slowly looked up and her eyes passed the blue striped tie to that stiff collars of that light blue shirt to the neatly shaved, angular jaws to those perfectly green eyes.
It is him!
"Fred?"Talia smiled at Arthur who was now bending down.
Before she realised what was going on, she felt something warm on her lips. It wasn’t long, not short but it was surprisingly warm. Her eyes widened as she saw the handsome face of Arthur near her.
