"No one said that to our face though," Vivian leaned back on the seat with a smile in her face.
Even though they are not from an aristocratic family, the McAllisters are well respected and politically influential in the country and people always behaved carefully around them.
And as expected, this Brunton doesn’t care. She knew because of the class system in their country, the aristocrats doesn’t give them much respect, but this Brunton,even though was blunt, Vivian felt Talia’s words weren’t rooted in supremacy but she was merely candid.
She had only heard about her. Everyone in the country liked her until that incident. She knew Cyril cared for her very much even though she was the one who killed his brother. He never told her the reason and she never cared much either.
She always wanted to meet her and this was the first time she talked to her and she already liked her.
" Did Cyril tell you we are getting married?" Vivian added and looked at Cyril who just shrugged with a grimace.
"You didn’t?" she punched his arm and Cyril just looked outside with a pout.
When was he free to talk about his wedding? Isn’t the wedding almost a year away? Also shouldn’t the bride take care of the wedding arrangements? Why is he being blamed?
"Congratulations!" Talia said heartily. Getting married is a good thing.
"Thanks, I’ll send you an invite. It’s a winter wedding. And may I ask you a favour? You can totally say no, " Vivian was slightly embarrassed as she played with her Cartier diamond ring in her left ring finger.
"Yes?" Talia decided to listen. She is Jordan’s sister and Cyril’s wife-to-be. She didn’t mind.
