The voice in the other end of the phone, that was youthful, serene and deep made Prince Edward frown. He wasn’t so sure of the person he got acquainted with recently. He speaks of high ambitions and is sure his plans will succeed.
But who is he to order me - a Prince around?
"Is that so? Why? Her reputation is tarnished. We can release more truths about her and slowly make the people hate her and keep her away from Esteria forever. And if we reveal that Lord Brunton..."
"How stupid are you? F*cking Royalty of Esteria! Ha! No wonder you lost your country," the man on the other side chuckled softly and Prince Edward fisted his hand hard.
"Return back and don’t contact her again," the voice got deeper with a hint of threat, coming out of the mockery it held some seconds ago easily, making Prince Edward a bit scared.
He didn’t know who that man was but his girlfriend introduced him to her as her friend a year ago and he seems so influential with a lot of connections in higher and lower places of the society.
After winning a gambling game, that man called Cooper told him to ask whatever he needed and he asked for the Northern Star as a joke, but he was intrigued and agreed and just asked him to follow his lead. Till now it all seems to be working out and their plans are getting fruitful but when he said Talia needed to be removed, he got a bit skeptical of him.
’Should she die for me to have the Northern Star? Is it really worth it? Can’t I have both her and the company?’
"Sure," Prince Edward ended the call and rubbed his forehead.
He sat in the table for some more time and seeing the articles getting deleted and shadow-banned, he gritted his teeth.
