Chapter 61: Forgetting Time
Talia carefully listened to Arthur’s voice outside, still unable to hold back her laughter.
After he ended his phone call there was silence for what seemed to be an eternity and Talia tried to sense if he is angry.
’Poor guy must have been laughed at by Jordan and will be totally embarrassed!’
Her laughter stopped abruptly when the door being banged and after she realised the punishments she might receive for pranking him, she wondered how to pacify him.
’He’d be so mad at me!’
"Come on now, open the door Iris..." Arthur’s voice was smooth as chocolate making Talia a bit skeptical.
"No! You’ll definitely get back at me," she not her lips. She got more scared as time passed.
" What? No I won’t!" he said firmly, "Iris, I’m cold! All my clothes are in your closet. Come on, open the door now," he spoke in a rather pitiful tone and she felt pitiful remembering he was wearing nothing.
Feeling sorry for the man outside she decided to open the door but being cautious, she turned the knob very slowly not making any noise and peeked out through an one inch gap to see his expression.
The moment the door opened, Arthur pushed the door open and Talia tried to close the door back and as expected, her thin arms were no match for his toned arms and he got in.
Ahhh!
